INTERVAL
In this artwork, white becomes a space in its own right. Between the cormorant, the five old nails, and the horizon of reclaimed coastal wood, an interval emerges—a space of silence, light, and breathing room. The cormorant, with its blue eyes, seems suspended between sky and sea, while the aged materials carry traces of time. The white suggests purity, but also what exists between things—this quiet space where the eye can simply pause and breathe.
