BETWEEN TWO SEASONS
This unique piece brings together raw materials and the delicate nature of living things. Created from driftwood, recycled wood, and a piece of an automobile engine, it embodies the meeting point between nature and industry. At its center, a black-and-white photograph reveals a flower at the end of its cycle, gently closing in preparation for winter. Through its textures and contrasts, the work evokes a passage, a slowing down, a transition into silence. Like the flower, it also suggests our own need to withdraw at times—to step back, to protect ourselves, to refocus, and to prepare for renewal. A piece rich in meaning, both raw and soothing, drawing its strength from the balance between resilience and vulnerability.
