WAITING FOR THE KEY
This artwork first imposes a face-to-face encounter. The crow—upright, intense, almost unsettling—holds attention without compromise. Its gaze does not turn away. It questions. Here, nothing is left to chance. The driftwood, shaped and marked by time and the elements, frames the scene with strength. Fragments collected along the shoreline carry a raw memory within them—a passage, a resilience. At the heart of this living material, the black-and-white photograph reveals a presence: an American crow, both wary and deeply perceptive.
Approaching a crow means accepting to slow down. It means understanding that trust is not given—it is earned. It requires time, consistency, and a form of quiet respect.
This work evokes precisely that fragile balance. It raises a simple yet essential question: Will you have the patience to wait… to observe… to find the key?
